Ramallah-30/7/2014: Israeli occupation forces committed new crimes against Palestinian journalists today in Gaza city; they killed the cameraman  at the Palestinian Network for  Press and MediaRami Rayan,26 years old, today afternoon, when they shelled Shojae'ya  neighbourhood .in Gaza city,  he had four children. The editor in the Network Mahmoud Alqasas was injured slightly in his head in the same shelling.

They killed also Ahed Afif Zaqout, 49 years old, today in the early morning, who worked as a sport commentator at Palestinian Public TV and a sport analyst at Al-Kotab TV, after shelling his house in Gaza city .He was married, and he had two children.

The head of the Palestinian Network for the press and media Nasr Abu Alfoul said to  MADA that ”after the announcement of a truce between the Palestinians and Israeli sides for four hours  today afternoon, the cameraman Rami Ryan  went with editor Alqasas to report on the situation of citizens in the market Shojae'ya. The shelling was a surprise to them and the Israeli war aeroplanes were existing extensively, everyone present in the market was targeted (citizens, journalists, and even ambulances), thus Rami Ryan was killed and Mahmoud Alqasaswas injured in the head a minor injury.

At least 15 civilians were killed and more than 150 were injured in the shelling.

The head of media workers syndicate of Palestinian Public TV in Gaza, Kamel Hamed reported to MADA:"The journalist Ahed Zagout was targeted between 03:00 and 04:00 A.M by a F16 rocket while he was sleeping alone at home.His wife and his two kids slept at the home of his wife's family that night. Ahed's apartment locates on AL-Nassir street in the Italian complex. He has worked as a sport commentator at the media department of Palestine TV since 2000. He was an athlete who played at Gaza Sport Club, and he worked as a principal of Al-Nash'in school at Al-Hilal Club.

IOF Killed  another 5 journalists and media workers since launching the Israeli savage aggression on Gaza Strip,24 days ago.IOF killed more than 1300 and injured more than 7000 citizens, whom most of them are children, women and old people.

MADA condemns this savage crime and demands the international community to firmly keep pressure on Israeli government to stop their attacks on journalists, stop Israeli aggression on Gaza strip, and hold them accountable for committing these crimes against Palestinian journalists and civilians.
