The Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms (MADA) launched yesterday its Freedom of Expression Award funded by UNESCO to strengthen freedom of expression in Palestine.
The center will award 9 financial bursaries to competition Palestinian journalist winners in three categories: articles, reports and posters.
MADA is now accepting submissions for the competition, which will be open until Sunday 20th March 2011. Entries will be judged by an independent professional committee, which will select the best three from each category. Winners will be announced and awarded at the Press Freedom Day commemoration ceremony.
