Mr. Augustin Favereau, Director of the Cooperation Department of the French Consulate General in Jerusalem, and Ms. Zohra Ait El Jamar, Audiovisual Cooperation Officer, visited MADA this morning. MADA’s General Director, Mr. Mousa Rimawi, gave an overview of MADA’s programs and activities, especially the monitoring of media freedoms violations and the defense of freedom of expression through the creation of a favorable legal environment. Mr. Favereau and Ms. Ait El Jamar outlined the priorities of France’s assistance to the Palestinians in the fields of media development, human rights, and civil society development, and the two sides discussed potentials ideas for cooperation.
