MADA meets with representative office of Norway
Ramallah – 28 June 2012: A delegation from the Representative Office of Norway to the Palestinian Authority (the Deputy representative Jan Dybfest and Second Secretary Ellen Svendsen) today visited the Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms (MADA).
MADA General Director Mousa Rimawi welcomed the delegation and talked about the reality of media freedom in Palestine and the center’s programs and efforts in developing the Palestinian media and enhancing freedom of expression.
The delegations were impressed by MADA’s programs (monitoring and documenting media freedom violations, legal unit, advocacy and media development). And emphasized the importance of the work done by MADA.
The visit’s goal was to enhance the relationships between the two sides and to learn more about Palestinian media reality and challenges. The two sides agreed on the continuation of communication between each other.
