MADA demands the immediate release of Al-Qiq who is under hunger strike for 16 days. And

Ramallah- 21 Feb.2017:Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms “MADA” expresses its high concern in regards to journalist Mohamed Al-Qiq’s health condition, and what he was exposed to by the Israeli Occupation authorities, following his administrative detention. Al-Qiq is now under a hunger strike since 16 days. Noting that Israeli Occupation Authorities arrested journalist Mohamed Al-Qiq on 15/01/2017 again, he is now under administrative detention; what led him to start his hunger strike. Arresting Al-Qiq followed his recent release on 21/05/2016, after a period that lasted 93 days under hunger strike protesting his administrative detention back then. His hunger strike and the fast pace of his health deterioration forced Israeli Authorities to agree with his lawyer to release him immediately and end his hunger strike.
